Abstract : Visits the Chinese section of Southern Cemetery, Dunedin. Talks to historian Dr James Ng and Historic Cemeteries Conservation Trust of New Zealand chair Stewart Harvey about a planned major conservation and restoration project to remedy years of vandalism and neglect of Chinese graves. Reveals the tale of other Chinese migrants who were repatriated, either living or dead, to their ancestral homeland by the thingy Fah Association, founded by New Zealand migrants from thingyyu country, China. Profiles three Chinese people who are buried in the Southern Cemetery.
