BOAT CAPSIZED BOAT CAPSIZED THREE CHILDREN DROWNED A CHINESE FAMILY (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, February 22 Fears that three Chinese cnadren were drowned in the Tamaki River, near Otahuhu last evening were confirmed this morning when the body of one of the children was discovered. The children were Jimmie Len (14). Johnny Len (10), and Margaret Len (8). The father is Fong Len, formerly of Paeroa, who has been w Auckland for the last lew months and at present is living at market gardens at East Tamaki. Late yesterday afternoon the children went towards the river, which is close by, presumably to bathe. Later a Maori woman saw them in a small boat, which was being carried downstream on the ebbing tide. When the children did not return home at dark the father and other Chinese instituted a search. It was unsuccessful. They "then informed the Otahuhu police. A further search this morning revealed a capsized boat, and this was responsible for the finding of Johnny Len's body.
