Bankruptcy. THE TAI SHING ESTATE. A meeting of the creditors in the estate of Tai Shing, storekeeper, Hawera, who had been adjudged a bankrupt on creditors' petition, was held at the office of the Deputy Official Assignee on Thursday. The proved and ascertained debts amounted to about £1450, the principal being Wang Kang, Ku & Co, £491; Donald <ft Edenboro, £141 Commercial Agency Co, £180; Hogan k Co, £105; wages, £112; Hatrick 4 Co, £110; Bannatyne & Co, £79; Shing Lee. £72; Phoenix Jam Co, £75; Hudson, soap merchants, £41 T. and W. Young, £90 A. S. Paterson & Co, £70; E. Tong, £43; Nathan, *35 Dustin, £18 Chestnut, £13. It was decided that action be taken to bring back the bankrupt, who, it was reported, is still in the colony. Instructions were given to theD.O.A. as to the realisation of the assets, which it was expected would produce about £400.
