I was sad to hear of Frank's passing. I first met you as a neighbour in Maungaraki and became the babysitter as a young teenager to Pip and Amanda on many an occasion. Frank later became my boss at Allan Bank Office Supplies and I always admired his fantastic sense of style and very classy smart clothing and well polished shoes.
Thinking of you Pip and Amanda. Steph Ngan 19/07/2013

God looked around his garden, and found an empty place He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest With the help of his angels, they flew you to your heavenly place.
God’s garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
God saw that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on Earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills too hard to climb He closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be Thine”.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
So Uncle Pok, you’ve left us with peaceful memories, you love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you, you are always at our sides.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same But as God calls us one by one, our chain will link again.
Go well, Uncle Pok. Rest in peace.
With love, Nic, Ben and Sam xxxx Roderick Lowe 19/07/2013

Dear Pok, You became an ‘adopted brother’ to us sisters, in our teens, at Wellington Road. When you returned to New Zealand you brought the exoticism of youthful Hong Kong to 1950s’ New Zealand. We helped in keeping those sweeping Elvis hairdos just right, you got us to Rock ‘n Roll and taught us, the Cha Cha and to dance demonstrations at the bible class dances of the day. We had so much fun.
We will miss your smile, your friendship, Rest in peace Pok.
Joc and Linda

Pip, Amanda, Simon and Finn,
I have cherished childhood memories of Uncle Pok when you lived in Maungaraki, and when Darren and I would come to visit. And, more recently, John and I recall how proud and happy he was at your wedding, Amanda and Simon.
Uncle Pok may not have said much, but he was a kind and humble man who would envelope you in a tight hug when he saw you. He will be sadly missed.
Our love and deepest sympathy for your loss at this sad time.

Frank - I will always remember those days when we snookered and dined together and enjoyed our lunches at the Wellesley. Wonderful times which made a working life so much more bearable.
Thanks for the memories! Darren Cheung 18/07/2013
