FIRE AT PAHIATUA. (By Telegraph.—Press 'Association Paihiatua this day. Shortly after 1 am: fire broke out in a building owned by Mr. T. C. Williams, of Wellington, arid occupied by Jock Ping (a Chinese fruiterer), Mr, Husband (land agent), and Messrs. Abraham, and Williams (auctioneers). The fire began in a sitting-room at the back of Ping's shop, and extended to Husband's premises, but was then suppressed: No damage was done to Abraham and building, which is' insured' for £850. Ping is insured for £600, and Husband for £75.
