CHINESE IN GERMAN-SAMOA. AUCKLAND, Th ursday. The Governor of Gernman Samoa. who arrived to-day, said the labour problem was a most dilficult one. Two hundred Chinese had been imported and had on the whole done well, and it was proposed to make further importations. The whites gave little trouble, and the natives were peaceful. CHINESE LEAVE SAMOAN JOBS AUCKLAI4D, Sept. 13: The last party of indentured Chinese labourers to be repatriated. by the New Zealand Government from Western Samoa will be taken from Apia this month to Hong Kong.
