Steven JARM Obituary
(Formerly Chang Brothers, Lyttelton)
Farewells are never joyful moments in our lives but those that leave us with fond memories are all we can hope for. This can be said for Steven's life. He filled us with so many joyful times with his kind hearted and caring nature. He will always be remembered as being sincere, selfless and simple. Whether with work, friends, family or with strangers, Steven was always polite and always smiling. He was always interested in hearing other people's stories and modest about himself. Steven left us peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2024, at the age of 82. Loved husband of Stephanie (Deceased). Much loved father and father-in-law of Wayne and Yukari, David and Keiko, Warren, Clinton and Pui Yee. Dearly loved grandfather of Issei, Hikari, and Mei. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ray and Ying, Brenda and Steve (Deceased) and Paul. Loved brother-in-law of Eileen and Darren, Ann and Percy (Deceased), and Valmai and Gordon. Loved son-in-law of So Yong (Deceased) and Nam (Deceased). His kindness and overly caring nature will be missed by all who knew him, therefore, a special service to celebrate Steven's life will be held at 10.00am, on Saturday, January 20, 2024, in Bell Lamb & Trotter's Ferry Park Chapel, 297 Ferry Road, Phillipstown, Christchurch. Interment thereafter at Memorial Park Cemetery.
