"NO TELLUM PAPER." SING ON KEE'S SILENCE. CHINESE SHOP BURGLED. Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 27. The premises of Sing On Kee, a wellknown fruiterer ami provision merchant iu Lambton Quay, were the scene of a big robbery, evidently at a late hour on Saturday night. A sum of between £750 and £BOO w T as missed from a safe. Of this amount £6OO is stated to'have been in sovereigns, and the remainder in notes, and access to it was evidently gained by means of keys. Up to the present tlui occurrence is shrouded in mystery, and enquiries among Orientals for details about the affair are met by the laconic answer, "Fleece say no telhvm paper.'' paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/cgi-bin/paperspast?a=d&d=SUNCH19150728.2.9&cl=search&srpos=6&e=-------100--1----0%22on+kee%22--&st=1 Sun, Volume II, Issue 457, 28 July 1915, Page 2
