Woman killed in New Lynn accident named By Brendan Manning 3:39 PM Tuesday Oct 8, 2013 The name of the pedestrian killed on on a street in Auckland's suburb of New Lynn last Monday has been released. Jane Honorine Lim Liuu, 23, of New Lynn was was rushed to Auckland City Hospital in a critical condition after being struck by an eastbound vehicle at a pedestrian crossing on Rata St, about 8.55pm. She died in the early hours of the following morning. Waitemata police district spokeswoman Beth Bates said the driver of the vehicle was cooperating with police, but it was still too soon to say whether charges would be laid. "The driver stopped at the scene and was breath-tested and no alcohol was involved.''
