AH CHEE , William Bruce. Passed away peacefully in Auckland Hospital in his 98th year on Saturday 3rd November 2012 after a short illness. A proud NZ Army WW2 Serviceman has fallen . Service Number 266208 Happily married to Grace for 68 years , cherished Father of Richard, Tim and Tina Father-in-law to Elizabeth, Nigel and the late Sammy Grandfather to Tarron, Tao, Samuel, Thomas, Kyla and Trey Brother to Betty and the late Alice, Roxy and Tom. Brother-in-law to Rose, Norman, Joyce, Molly, Joseph, Peter, Nelly and Jennifer. A funeral service will be held at All Saints Chapel Purewa Cemetery , Meadowbank on Friday 9th November at 12 Noon followed by refreshments at Kohimarama Yacht Club.

I was sad to hear the news of Uncle Bruces passing this morning. This is only just after having a dream of taking you, Aunty Grace & smiley Uncle Bruce to a restaurant with Dave & my friends in Dublin. We hope that tomorrow will run smoothly & I am sorry that we can't be there with you all at this time. Our thoughts & prayers are with our extended family back home but especially to you guys.

Thanks for your thoughts and wishes on the passing of Dad.
He was asleep when he stopped breathing. Thankfully he was not in pain at the time.
