Saturday, 1 September 2012 RIP Uncle Sher. My thoughts are with Aunty Dolly, Joanne, Andrew, Stephen and all the Lowes Lots of love, Rachel ~ Rachel Davidson, Perth, Western Australia | Contact Me Saturday, 1 September 2012 Hi Dolly and all your whanau;
I am very saddened by the loss of your Sherman - a great Father and Grandfather a hard worker - a good businessman and a friend to hundreds from Bluff to Auckland. A humble person with an unmatched sense of humour whose laugh and enjoyment of life was legendary. He taught me to drive the old fruit truck on the old Bluff to Invercargill highway. You both looked after me (at Ti Rakai Drive in Auckland)when I was a young swimmer training up in Auckland in the early 1960's. Sher used to drop me at the pool before 6am each morning on his way to the gardens. I will miss him he was a bloody good "Kiwi".
"Takoto mai e koro" - "Rest peacefully, respected elder"
Aroha-nui to all the whanua: "Hori"
