WELLINGTON (N.Z.). Saturday (A.A.P.-Reuter). -There was a record payment for New Zealand for the doubles totalisator of £4,089/18/6 for 10/ at the Masterton races to- day.
The only winning ticket was a 10/ one, held by a Chinese freezing chamber worker, Wong Hong Bong. The Sunday Herald (Sydney, NSW Sunday 4 March 1951 Masterton races yesterday produced the record double for New Zealand' since the introduction "of the doubles totalisator.
