SUICIDE AT NAPIER. Chinaman HANGS HIMSELF. A Chinaman named Kwong Chong, fruiterer, residing in Hastings street, Napier, was found at -5.30 this morning hanging from the ceiling in the lavatory, dead. He had hanged biiu.sc-f by tying a pieey of rope to a waifcr|»ij»e on the ceiling, thence round his neck. Dr. Johnson examined the body and declared him to have been dead about four hours. Hp resided with Lock Wong who said that he retired about 11.30 last evening then in his usual state of health. He was not a strong man and had financial worries, ile had never mentioned anything about taking his life. He was 57 years of age and had been resident in New Zealand for tO years.
