www.nswbar.asn.au/docs/webdocs/BN_022015_lee.pdfThis is the late Norman Lee, a well known identity of Dixon St. He passed away in his 90s four or five years ago. Norman was born in the building early last century. As a child, his father sent him to China for traditional Chinese education, thus he was versed in both Chinese and English. Norman used to handle my remittance needs. Before his passing, I managed to have a chat with him on a couple of occasions about the past. I never did raise the subject if he was involved in the repatriation of human remains or bones to China in the pre-World War Two years. Norman had many siblings, an older brother was the first Chinese to wear silk in the State of NSW. Another was a professor of English. www.nswbar.asn.au/docs/webdocs/BN_022015_lee.pdf
