Wellington, April 13. The Supreme Court hua been occupied aU day hearing the charge of murder preferred against Fong Chong and his wife, an English woman. The body of their infant child bearing marks of violence weß found wrapped m a bag on the beaoh at Evans Bay ii January last. The jury retired at 7.30 and after an hour'a deliberation acquitted the accused on the more serious charge and entered up a verdict of concealment of birth. In the Appeal Court argument has concluded in, the case Regina v. Fong Chong and Clara Chong. At the last criminal sessions , the prisoners, were charged with child murder.
