Pedestrian's death leaves workmates 'shocked and saddened'

The death of an Auckland bank employee who was struck by a truck has left his colleagues "shocked and saddened".
Robert Su, 33, died after he was hit while walking across Fanshawe St in central Auckland on Tuesday evening.
He lived on Auckland's North Shore.
Su worked for the ASB Bank in Auckland.
In a statement, ASB chief executive Barbara Chapman said: "We are shocked and saddened to learn of Robert's tragic accident. He was a much loved and popular member of the ASB team who will be sadly missed among his many friends and colleagues. Our thoughts are with his friends and family."
The Auckland City Police serious crash unit was investigating the accident.
They have spoken with the driver of the vehicle involved as well as several witnesses, police said.
