CHINESE GENEROSITY HELPING THE HOSPITAL The Chinese in Christchurch anntially send a donation to the General Hospital funds, and this year the donation amounts to £24. A cheque for that amount has been forwarded to tho secretary, with a covering letter, the following being a copy:— CHRISTCHURCH, October 2, 1916. l*io Secretary, Christchurch Hospital. Dear Sir,—l have much pleasure in again sending you a cheque, this tinio for £2-1, as a contribution from my countrymen in and near Christchurch, towards tho upkeep of the Christchurch Hospital, of which £lO 10s is donated by tho Christ-church Chinese Association £l3 10,s being specially contributed by the undersigned, who join me in wishing your institution every success.
