Hi there. I am editing my grandfathers autobiography (1906-1979). He lived in Southland and mentions a Len Mee Chang. He says Len was living at Sunnyside Station, making a living by selling deer skins. He had a very good hunting dog. Len used to go to my grandfather's house and shoot deer from his property to Sunnyside Station. I cannot see any mention of a Len Mee Chang on the internet so I was wondering if you could confirm his name? The time he was writing about was about 1945-50 Thank you :-) Lis Len Mee Chang would be Leonard John Mee Chang. He was the son of Richard Thomas Mee Chang and Mary Ann (nee Favel). Leonard was born in 1916. He spent the time during WWII as a Government deer culler. This is mentioned in the NZ Gazette found at the following website: www.nzlii.org/nz/other/nz_gazette/1941/63/212.pdfLeonard's death is registered as occurring in 2001 although I don't know where he died or where he is buried. Hope this is helpful. vfn
