In response to the amazing correspondence, I attach a list of the
names available at 17/2/03. Not all are 100% reliable in terms of
Chinese ancestry and any advice would be welcome.
The following is a list of Australians of Chinese ethnic descent who
served in World War !.. Not all are confirmed as being of Chinese
ancestry. Places shown are the best available. Enlistment does not
necessarily mean place of birth or normal residence. The information
is that available at 17/2/2003.
Any information on any of these men is welcome and should be sent by
email to Ian Welch (ianwelch@coombs.anu.edu.au) or mailed to GPO Box
2255, Canberra ACT 2601.
