Low Ding 7 William Sang An application for BuretievS of the peace, defendant having threatened to shoot the plaintiff. Mr W Henderson for plaintiff. Prom the evidence of the plaintiff and Joe Wye, Charlie Shing, and Ah Mook, it appeared that on Saturday night the plamtoff sent Joe Wye to the defendant to ask Sarah, his housekeeper, to return Or to come and take her things away. Defendant apparently did no# like this, and after usiiig strong language said *If Low Ding says I took his wife, Sarah, away,, I'll shoot him/ This was the threat complained of. Defendant denied this and said that Sarah came to hig place to smoke opium and she had remained there though he had told her to go home several times. She had sone home, but came back and was still there.His Worship said the woman was not married and could go where she liked, and held that the case was not strong enough to justify him in binding the defendant over. Dismissed. ;
